All stories have a beginning, and Bangs starts in the working-class outskirts of Copenhagen in 1878. Our founder Christian Bang started "BANGS' Marmalade to serve the many families in the neighbourhood.

Today Ulrik Lehmann and his two sons Fredrick and Carl Gustav run Bangs under the original name in respect for the heritage and everything Christian accomplished.

New recipes and more products with love for nature followed and the ginger shot became a huge success.

146 years old and Bangs is still growing and developing high quality natural products combined with constant innovation.
